Berkeley Winter 2010 will be awesome. It will be an official competition run by a team of cubers from the Berkeley, Caltech, and Stanford Cube Clubs.

Date: Saturday, January 30, 2010

Location: 145 Dwinelle Hall, UC Berkeley, Berkeley, CA

Events: 3x3x3 Speedsolve | 3x3x3 One-Handed | 3x3x3 Blindfolded | 4x4x4 | Square-1 | Pyraminx

Who may compete?

Anyone who can solve a cube may register and compete. Public spectators are always welcome.

How much will it cost?

$6 base, plus $2 per additional event ($1 from each entry will go to the WCA). Or just bring us something COOL, though we reserve the right to declare anything as not COOL. So bring your registration fee just in case.

What should competitors know?

Time Limits: Each solve has a 10-minute time limit. Some events may be subject to a lower time limit.

Cubes: Competitors should bring their own cubes to compete with. (Some cubers might be willing to lend theirs, though.)

Regulations: Competitors, please make sure you are familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing, particularly Article A.

Reminder: International competitors should bring a valid passport. Competitors representing the USA can if they so desire.

Reminder 2:Skirt Day will be held on the same day. Those not wearing skirts will not be eligible for the Skirt Day Award.
