Information for Competitors

Directions to Annenberg Auditorium

Annenberg Auditorium (AnnAud) is a large underground auditorium in the basement of the Cummings Art building. If you are approaching from the quad, you should see a large depression in the ground: the stairs lead to Annenberg. There should be signs for the competition.

Location: Annaud is located by the east of the main quad, near the back of Hoover Tower (the large beige tower that can be seen from most places on campus). The entrance is on Lausen Mall, near the intersection of Lausen Mall and Serra Mall.

From the front of campus: There should be parking around University Avenue. University Avenue leads to a large grass oval. If you walk past the oval and go left on Serra, the beginning of Lausen should be on your right. Consider searching for more thorough directions.

7x7x7, Magic, and Master Magic

7x7x7 will be held at EPGY09; there will be no participation fee. You must be ready to give us your 7x7x7 before 1:15, and you may be required not to compete in OH. Qualification will be based on the 5x5x5 round, as below. If you would like to compete in 7x7x7 without participating in 5x5x5, please ask during registration.

6x6x6 will probably not be held. However, we will try to hold it if there is a lot of extra time.

Magic and Master Magic will be held starting at 9:30. Registration will be $2 for both (or either).

Combined rounds

You will be given 2 solves per event. If either of them is below the qualification time, you will get 3 more solves. Qualification Times (may be raised):
